The Album

The Genesis is a "musical paraphrase" that retells in song and music the events of the book of the same name, the oldest records of biblical history.

On 2 CDs and at 2 hours in length, it explores the emotion and stories of the characters in a variety of styles ranging from classical and celtic folk through to symphonic rock and the lighter side of metal. Most who have heard the album simply classify its style as "epic".

Seth started working on The Genesis in January 2007 when he realised that so much Christian music was either "Praise & Worship" or mainstream pop and rock; not that there is a problem with that but there were so few concept rock albums with a flair for the theatrical, a style with so much expression in itself. So he sat down to write the first track. 2 and a half years later the album was finished.
